COVID Prevention Tips - Curodoc Healthcare

 COVID PREVENTION TIPS

      Get Vaccinated.

Getting a jab against the notorious virus is the only way to prevent severe symptoms and the chances of getting COVID. Go to the nearest medical center to get vaccinated.

·     Wear a mask.

A mask by itself can help prevent the spread of the COVID19 virus. Using proper surgical masks or N95 are advised. Using double masks while in crowded places outdoors like market, grocery store, etc is advisable.

Do not use a cloth mask by itself, as it is not effective alone. Cloth mask can be used in double masking technique and should be washed in antiseptic liquid after each use.

·      Wash hands and face regularly.

Use warm water and soap to wash your hands and face regularly, especially when you are coming home from outside.

While outdoors, use a hand sanitizer especially after touching anything, including doorknobs, handshakes, your phone or laptop.

·       Maintain social distancing.

Physical distancing involves maintaining safe distance outdoors and staying an arm length away from others, not sharing public transport seats (unless it is a person you know) and also means staying at home as much as possible and working remotely.

·       Limit meeting people.

Everyone should avoid coming in close contact with others — especially those who are older, unwell, have preexisting medical conditions, or have symptoms similar to that of the virus.

·       Avoid crowded places.

Getting a group or gathering makes it more likely that you’ll be in close contact with someone.

This includes avoiding all religious places of worship, as you may have to sit or stand too close to another congregant. It also includes not congregating at parks or beaches.

·       Work at home if possible.

Working from home limits the exposure to people and crowded places, overall limiting the spread of the virus.

If a person in your home gets infected, follow these steps to help prevent it from spreading. The infected person should:

Stay in a separate bedroom with a inbuilt bathroom

Not share food or drinks with others

Wear a face mask when coming to the door to pick up meals or talk to others

Wear gloves when touching door handles or handling objects
